Walter Pollock, 91, of Bloomfield, most recently residing in New Haven, died March 16. He was the widower of Rose Gruman Pollock. born in Cambridge, Mass., the son of Abraham and Mildred Pollock. As a young man he along with his wife, Rose, made aliyah to Israel. shortly after the establishment of the nation. He and Rose were part of a group that founded and constructed a kibbutz settlement in the Galilee region of Israel and he served in the IDF. He is survived by four daughters, Dina, Ellen, Susan and Anne; two sons-in-law, Jacinto and John; three grandsons, Leiran, Jesse and Elijah; a granddaughter-in-law, Anna; and two great-grandchildren, Adina and Lev.
